Fernanda Ortiz Monasterio founding partner of Ortiz Monasterio Marcas y Patentes, S.C., has 24 years of experience in intellectual property. She graduated in law from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico and has a Master's Degree in Intellectual Property, Copyright and Information Society from the University of Alicante, Spain. She has served as a public official occupying the position of Chief Examiner at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and, in the private sector, worked in recognized intellectual property firms.

Ortiz Monasterio has a group of associate experts in intellectual property with great experience in the public and private sectors and strategic alliances with specialized firms worldwide.

RESERVA OF RIGHTS

Aside from regulating the rights of authors and derivative works, the Mexican Copyright Law confers the faculty of exclusively using and exploiting the following objects through a legal figure called “Reserva of Rights”.
